Computer & Job Skills (Crievewood)

Begin Anew is a faith-based nonprofit working to empower individuals to overcome obstacles caused by poverty by providing education, mentoring, and resources. Begin Anew operates programs at these locations: Nashville (locations in the Woodbine area and the Crieve Hall area), Madison, and Franklin. We also have an Online program for our HSE program only. Along with a weekly Community Group and no-cost programming and care for our students’ children, we offer three education tracks: HSE (High School Equivalency), ELL (English Language Learning) in three levels, and Computer and Job Skills.

Classes at our Crievewood Campus are held Tuesday evenings from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Do you have one night a week (2 hours) to teach Computer & Job Skills to adult students? We ask that our volunteers make a commitment for one semester. 

Previous teaching experience is helpful but not required. We are just looking for a willingness to serve and a desire to help others achieve their goals. This position requires volunteers to complete an application and pass a background check. Training and resources will be provided by the Program Manager.
