GENuine Connections Volunteers (Ages 65+ Only)

DOROT Westchester’s GENuine Connections program creates a free online space for adults (65+) and high school students (14-18) to build generational community over the course of 3-6 weeks of workshops on Zoom.

Participants will engage in meaningful conversation and creative activities within small, consistent groups, leading to the discovery of new perspectives and joy. All participants must commit to the entire workshop series in order to build community with authentic, positive connections.

Every semester offers a variety of workshop topics to choose from:

• Current events
• Brain games
• Chess
• Mindfulness
• Storytelling
• Theater

No previous experience is necessary, but volunteers must attend a volunteer orientation before the next semester begins. Express interest below!
