Appliance Assistant (North Calgary ReStore)

Did you know appliances are our #1 sales category across all Habitat ReStores!? So far this year, we’ve sold over $700, 000 in appliances (23% of our sales!) and we’re looking for volunteers to support this essential operation. As an appliance assistant volunteer, you’ll help prepare both gently used and new appliances for sale in our ReStore. Your tasks will include cleaning, unpacking and testing appliances. 

Skills Required: Must be comfortable with cleaning/detailing and able to bend over/crouch to access necessary areas to clean appliances. No technical knowledge is required but you will learn a lot on the job! 

Commitment: Regular commitment (i.e. 1 shift/week, 4+ month commitment)
