About this Opportunity

Do you have a passion for fashion, a knack for organization, or a love for treasures waiting to be discovered? Volunteer at the Rise Thrift Store and make a difference in the community!

There is so much to do at this Thrift Shop. Stop in for a few hours or spend the day with lots of volunteer opportunities to fit your skills and schedule. This is a great opportunity for children (with adult supervision) and teens to earn volunteer hours and work independently while working together to make a change. Positive attitude and smiles required!
NEED-TO-KNOW:

  • Each volunteer MUST check in on the laptop near the cash register once they arrive.

  • Retail Support: Assist in sorting, organizing, and displaying donated items to create an inviting shopping experience for the customers.

  • Customer Service: Engage with customers, offering a friendly face and assistance as they explore the eclectic selection of items

  • Visual Merchandising: Use your creativity to help design eye-catching displays that highlight a unique inventory.

  • Some heavy lifting may be required and volunteers should wear clothes they feel comfortable working in.
