Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail Scouts - Northwest Florida

The FWC is looking for interested members of the public to help maintain high quality birding opportunities in the state by conducting site visits to locations on the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail.

The Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail is made up of over 500 sites around Florida that have been recognized as excellent places to go birding and wildlife viewing. The Trail is an important service that encourages conservation through eco-tourism.

By visiting Trail sites and filling out a quality assurance survey, volunteers help FWC ensure the Trail remains one of the best resources around to meaningfully connect people to nature and build support for conservation.

Volunteer opportunities are available year-round.
