About this Opportunity

Aside from our volunteer tutor need, Tutoring Chicago has several things happening throughout the year that could use some extra hands. 

Here is a list of our 1-time volunteering opportunities:

Summer Send Off Organizing (early June)

Volunteering to organize materials for our end of year summer send off event.

Summer Send Off (early June)

Volunteering at our picnic style, end of year event for students and their families. Various duties including set up, manning of different tables/stations, food/snack distribution, monitoring picnic games and clean up. Multiple locations across the city. 

Chromebook Clean Up (early/mid June)

Volunteering to help clean, sanitize, prep and organize our chromebooks that are used by our students and tutors. 

Golf Outing (early/mid June)

Volunteering at our annual Golf event. Various duties including event set up, check in/registration of golfers and attendees, supervision of holes on the course and clean up. 

Site Clean Up (mid July-Early August)

Volunteering to clean, sanitize and organize in-person sites before the program year begins. Multiple locations across the city. 

Chromebook Distribution (early/mid September) 

Volunteering to distribute Chromebooks to students at our distribution event before the program year begins. Multiple locations across the city. 

Holiday Gift Organizing (mid December)

Volunteering to intake and organize gifts received from various donors based on assigned student pick up sites.

Holiday Gift Distribution (mid December)

Volunteering at our indoor gift distribution events where families and students are invited to pick up their holiday gifts and enjoy a festive time.  Various duties including set up, manning of different tables/stations, food/snack distribution, monitoring games and clean up. Multiple locations across the city.
