Specialized Volunteering (Internship & Student Placement)

Our Specialized Volunteering program is designed for individuals who would like to contribute their skills while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience in a purpose-driven environment.

This opportunity is suitable for students completing required placement hours, as well as individuals offering specialized skills in areas such as administration, marketing, events, community engagement, or project-based work.

Volunteers and interns may support a range of functions across the organisation, in addition to some involvement in kitchen activities such as food preparation, packaging, and service, ensuring a well-rounded experience.

Placements are structured and may include agreed schedules, responsibilities, and learning objectives. Availability, duration, and scope will be discussed and confirmed prior to onboarding.

Please note:

• Open to individuals aged 16+ (depending on placement requirements)
• A valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) may be required prior to commencement
• Placement forms or supporting documentation must be submitted where applicable
• Volunteers must follow all safety and food handling guidelines
• Required attire includes closed shoes, long pants, covered shoulders, and a cap when in the kitchen
