About this Opportunity
Volunteer Actors needed!
The Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) is holding a drill During this activation drill, we need community volunteer "actors" to play themselves, the part of potential volunteers looking to help the greater community recover from the disaster.
The Role: Actors will be asked to sign up to volunteer, and go through the registration process to receive an assignment. Some actors may be asked to play a role or take part in a scenario for the staff to manage.
The Details: Snacks and beverages will be provided, as well as an opportunity to learn more about Disaster Preparedness activities, and other volunteer activities in Alexandria.
The drill will be at Grace Episcopal Church, 3601 Russell Rd, Alexandria, VA 22301. Specific details will be provided closer to the event date.
About the VRC: The VRC team is a trained organization of local volunteers responsible for opening and running a center to prepare and assign otherwise unaffiliated volunteers from the community to fill roles and needs to help our community recover after a major disaster. Go to the VRC page for more information on the VRC
