Visit with Older Adults in their Homes

LITA (Love is the Answer) grew out of the desire to bring happiness, friendship and meaning into the lives of lonely and isolated older people living in Marin.

♥LITA matches volunteers with older adults in need of friendship. This improves quality of lives, provides comfort, and helps to decrease loneliness and isolation.

♥Requirements are minimal to Volunteer with LITA: An interview/orientation, and an ability to commit to visits on a regular basis. We ask our volunteers to be available for 1 hour per week, for a minimum 6 month committment (with the understanding that things will come up at times).

2. Return the completed application to Jennifer Sequeira, Director of Volunteers. Applications can be sent either via mail or email, whatever works best!
