Goose Island State Park - General Volunteer

Are you passionate about nature and conservation? Goose Island State Park is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with a variety of year-round projects that keep our park beautiful, safe, and enjoyable for all.

What You''ll Do
As a volunteer, you''ll have the opportunity to:

• Help keep the park clean through litter pickup.
• Assist with fishing rod maintenance for our angler programs.
• Support habitat restoration projects.
• Aid in visitor education and park activities.
• Work on special events and seasonal initiatives.
• General maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A passion for nature and helping others.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule (volunteer hours are customizable).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision and able to follow TPWD safety standards and procedures.
• Criminal background check required.
