Join the Maui Humane Societyvolunteer team! We are always looking for new volunteers to participate in a variety of tasks such as dog walking, laundry & cleaning, socializing cats, assisting the public with questions, administrative tasks, fundraising, veterinary assistance, public outreach events and community education. There'ssomething for everyone to do, no matter your age or ability! We also always need short term foster parents for cats, dogs and critters as well. Volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years old, but keiki under 16 can volunteer with a parent or guardian. We are open 7 days a week and offer the flexibilityto drop in anytime to volunteer between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm! Endless cuddles, slobbery kisses and fun guaranteed!

The steps to become a volunteer at Maui Humane Society:

1)Visit our website and sign up for a New Volunteer Orientation Training session (2 hours)

2) Take the Dog Kennel or Cat Ohana Training [after you have the New Volunteer Training] (1 hour)

3) Show up and make a difference in the life of an animal!
