About this Opportunity
Thank you for volunteering for service to Camp Rhonda and surrounding camps. We will supply food, drinks, and supplies on rotating Thursdays.
Camp Rhonda is a homeless encampment that was named after one of the residents that lived there. She passed away in 2021. It used to be at a central location, but after sweeps by the City of Dallas, it became scattered to several locations. On Thursdays between we go to the camps and provide dinner, and clothes, shoes, hygiene, sleeping bags, firewood, tents and etc.Starting point is the parking lot across from the Dallas Public Library, 1515 Young Street, Dallas, Texas 75201.
