Monday Job Coach at new Cafe location- Adriatica | Make an impact in the lives of adults with special needs

Are you available to volunteer on weekly Mondays from 10am-3pm with adults with disabilities? If so, we'd love to have you volunteer at our new cafe location in McKinney. It will be located at the intersection of Virginia and Stonebridge at Burress Law Firm on the 2nd floor of "The Rook." You would be serving as a job coach for an employee with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a volunteer job coach, your role is to support, prompt and encourage the teammates in their various roles at the caf (greeter, kitchen food prep, busser, cashier, etc). The purpose of having a job coach is to shadow the teammate and offer prompts and suggestions to encourage the correct performance of the task at hand.

This position is ideal for someone who would like to work weekly at our cafe and make an impact in the lives of adults with special needs.
