We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Business Proposal Writer for our newly established faith-based nonprofit organization. Women of Purpose United (WOPU) is on a mission to help women transform their passions into purpose. With the support and partnerships of local business we're committed to supporting the growth of women-owned businesses throughout the Collin & DFW county.

Responsibilities

As a Proposal Writer on the WOPU Grant and Funding committee, you will contribute directly to the success of the organization by crafting compelling proposals and scaling our proposal strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing skills, thatwill be researching, developing, and writing business proposals to secure funding from various public and private sectors. We are looking for passionate self-starters who understand the impact of leveraging partnership alignment to yield long-term success. This role involves understanding WOPU's mission, developing a strategic approach to proposals, and ensuring all requirements are met.

*Bonus Skills

  • Strong editing and writing skills with attention to detail in proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity
  • Familiarity with fundraising strategies and nonprofits
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
