Hospice & Community Care is seeking Pet Therapy volunteers and animals to help bring comfort & care to patients in our service.

Pet Therapy volunteers regularly visit patients, either in their home residences, senior nursing facilities, or our Inpatient Center in Mount Joy. Pet Therapy animals can provide an immense sense of peace and calm to patients & families, as well as bring joy and companionship.

Pet Therapy animals must have all necessary, up to date certifications and vaccinations. Training will be provided, and volunteers will receive ongoing support from a team of dedicated Volunteer Coordinators.
