Location:SJLI Houston Office (Near Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX) or Virtual
Schedule:Flexible ideally a few 1.5-hour sessions per month. Training can be offeredin person, virtually, or in the eveningto accommodate volunteer and staff availability.

At theSocial Justice Learning Institute (SJLI) Houston), we partner with youth and young adults from under-resourced communities to create meaningful opportunities in education, leadership and career development. Through programs likeUrban ScholarsandHigher Pathways, we equip students with the tools they need to thriveand were always investing in how we work as a team to serve them better.

Were looking for avolunteer Asana trainer and workflow coachto help our staff become more confident in using Asana. Weve already integrated the platformwere ready to refine and optimize how we use it across programs, operations and communications.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Facilitating a fewtraining sessions(1.5 hours each) focused on Asana best practices

• Coaching staff through features like tasks, timelines, templates and portfolios

• Helping us createclearer, more efficient workflowsfor managing programs, events and internal operations

• Providing light support as staff continue to apply what theyve learned

What Were Looking For:

• Hands-on experience usingAsanain a team or organizational setting

• Ability to explain systems clearly and support various tech comfort levels

• A thoughtful, encouraging approach to training

• A passion for building capacity within mission-driven teams

This role is great for:

• Project managers or operations professionals with a heart for service

• Retired or semi-retired professionals looking to share their expertise

• Asana enthusiasts who enjoy coaching others and improving collaboration

Training sessions can be held in person at our Northwest Freeway office, virtually, or in the evening to best fit your schedule.Whether you're available during the week or after hours, your time and expertise will make a meaningful difference.
