Work on a finite project ensuring that the Red Cross has a qualified team to complete damage assessment after a disaster

This is a short term project, estimated to last between 4-8 months and to take about 70 hours of time to complete.

The Project:

Ensure that all Disaster Assessment workers in Texas Gulf Coast Region have Red Cross Collect qualifications completed and reflected in their Volunteer Connection profile.
Provide appropriate training, support, and recognition to team members
Ensure that Detailed Damage Assessments (DDA) is completed in the field.

Qualifications:

Ability to follow assessment procedures
Ability to collect data
Ability to enter data into Red Cross data base (RC Collect /Survey123)
Familiarity and ability to access computer programs
Conducts phone surveys to gather impact and preliminary damage assessment information.
Ability to understand, explain, and implement activity procedures with emphasis on the collection process.
