CrowdDoing supports a social innovation venture lab and a portfolio of social enterprises. Both the lab and the social enterprises aim to achieve systemic change through collaboration with virtual volunteers.

Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Mathematics preferred.

Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Role Summary:

As the Data Engineer, you will be joining a diverse team of business and technology specialists and work on Data warehouse,Infrastructure for data scientists.

This is an unpaid volunteer position.

Essential Tasks:

• Transform data into a format that can be easily recognized
• Develop, maintain and test infrastructures for data generation.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements
• Build data pipelines to collect data and move it into storage
• Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
• Show strong understanding of analytics needs and proactive-ness to build generic solutions to improve the efficiency
• Implement, communicate, and enforce best practices and standard
• Work with cross functional teams across the organization in varying roles

Skills:

• Knowledge of SQL[Structured Query Language],PL/SQL
• Experience in databases and AWS or other cloud infrastructure is a plus
• Ability & commitment to work independently and collaboratively with numerous people
• Excellent problem identification, problem solving, and analytical skills.
