About this Opportunity
Your American Red Cross is in need of 2 leadership volunteers to help build networks and partnerships on behalf of the organization for 2 different departments.
Community Partnerships Region Program Lead (Disaster Cycle Services) & Community Relations & Outreach Lead (Service to the Armed Forces). Both positions require leaders who are willing to network to help build capacity for their respective programs and to create partnerships to move the mission forward
Ideal candidates are networkers who are naturals at connecting people together. They should be professional and knowledgeable about the Red Cross. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
Estimated time commitment will vary between the 2 programs. However, daytime availability would be required in order to attend appropriate meetings.
Please note that the volunteer working with the Disaster Team should have the availability to deploy/respond to large scale disasters 1-2 times per year within the Texas Gulf Coast Region.
