Make Alzheimer's History- Serve on The Woodlands Walk to End Alzheimer's Committee!

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. The 13 Walks across Southeast Texas attract more than 10,000 participants and in 2015, raised $1.6MM growing 21%.The Fort Bend Walk to End Alzheimer's raised over $141,000 and welcomed over 1,000 participants last year.Planning committee members play an integral part in the success of the Walk by recruiting companies and individuals to join us in the fight against Alzheimer's. This year-round volunteer opportunity helps increase awareness of Alzheimer's diseasewhile raising critical funds for programs and services right here in Houston.Committee members will receive training and work in volunteer teams focusing on team recruitment, retention, and sponsorship.
