About this Opportunity
The Research Assistant Volunteer supports the Red Cross by researching and analyzing individuals and/or corporations that meet the goals and objectives of the Red Cross mission and priorities.

2-4 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on a variety of companies across all industries using free, paid-for, internet sources and other databases.
- Compile business profiles that include: Status with ARC (managed/non-managed via Salesforce), HQ and Contact Info, Financials, Customer Base, Operating Footprint, Philanthropic Areas and Activities (training provided).
- Create format for presenting research to the team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Assist with special activities/projects that help fulfill fundraising team needs
- Available, if needed, to assist with disaster fundraising
- Can be in office or remote
- Comfortable with making phone calls to identify specific points of contacts
Qualifications
- Ability to plan, organize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and organize multiple functions and activities
- Knowledge/Experience with research and analysis of organizations
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to effectively maintain the security of sensitive and confidential information
