Hospice Administrative Student Intern

The compassionate and dedicated team at A Serene Healthcare provides exceptional medical, psychosocial, spiritual, and volunteer support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses in Houston and surrounding areas. As a locally owned Hospice and Palliative Care company, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life of our patients. Our volunteer program at A Serene Healthcare has had to adapt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, we are currently seeking compassionate volunteersavailable during business hours (9 am to 5 pm)to assist our hospice office staff with tasks such as answering phones, inputting data, creating social media content, and additional clerical work. Volunteers skilled in filing papers and performing clerical tasks are especially needed and valued. This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the day-to-day operations of the hospice and palliative care industries.

Our interns require a minimum commitment of 4-6 hours per week. We understand the importance of flexibility and are willing to work with your schedule, particularly if you are employed with another organization.

Though this is an unpaid position, we are happy to support our volunteers with college credit, letters of recommendation, or references. We request that volunteers commit to at least two days per week and a few hours daily. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you want to join our team!
