About this Opportunity
Reconnection Workshops are free and confidential group sessions offered by the American Red Cross to help those facing challenges in returning to family life, their jobs and living again in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a minimum of two times a year
- Submit program evaluation forms within three days of participation
- Complete all course pre-work and other assignments within deadlines
- Actively promote the workshops when facilitating in your local area
- Remain current on Red Cross organizational policies
- Remain current regarding the research on module content
- Remain current by submitting renewal license information
- Agree to use Red Cross materials and handouts ONLY for Reconnection Workshops. All other use is prohibited.
- Facilitators can either focus on adults/veterans or child/youth age sessions
Qualifications:
- Master's level or higher mental health professional with independent, unencumbered license in one of the following disciplines: Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, School Counseling/Psychology, Nursing (APN or CS in Mental Health or; RN's who are board certified in Psy/MH).
Time Commitment:
- Two year commitment required offering sessions at least twice per year
