About this Opportunity
At Friends For Life, every animal matters. Founded in 2002, Friends For Life introduced the first no-kill shelter model to Houston saving animals regardless of their breed, age or condition.
Houston-grown, were here to help our neighbors care for the pets they love.
Were not finished until every animal has a safe home. Until then, well be innovating, improving and tracking results to find the most effective ways to save lives.
We have an amazing cat behavior and enrichment team, and we always need more help!
As a cat enrichment volunteer, you will provide various enrichment needs to our cats (think kitty kongs and bubbles!). Enrichment volunteers are essential to helping improve the daily lives of our cats at the shelter. Our Behavior volunteer program is a five step program, and you'll start out as a BV1 volunteer (behavior volunteer - level 1) focused on enrichment. Ourbehavior program is truly one-of-a-kind. You'll learn such much, likehow animals communicate, different types of enrichment, how to read body language, learning theory, and so much more.
Sign up today to help our cats get thesocialization and enrichment that they deserve!
This need is ongoing. Please disregard the "runs until" date attached to this need.
