Refugee Resettlement: School Impact Services School Enrollment Assistant

Volunteers work with the Refugee Resettlement Department School Impact Services team to assist with enrolling their children in school in Houston ISD and Alief ISD schools.

We need volunteers who are helpful, compassionate, and good with children. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and meet all Catholic Charities qualifications, including a criminal background check, TB test, and drug test.

Requirements

• Interview with School Impact staff
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be willing to do a background check and take TB test and drug screen
• Must have familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
