Volunteer Assistant

TIME COMMITMENT: Minimum one day per week (M, T, W, TH, F).

LOCATION(S): Pheasant Ridge Center, 2651 Roberts Rd. Iowa City. Easily accessible by the Iowa City bus system.

PURPOSE:

The Volunteer-Volunteer Coordinator is a pivotal member of our team, facilitating the coordination and management of our volunteer workforce. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our volunteer program, which is integral to achieving our mission of building a better future for people in low-income neighborhoods.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be able to commit to at least one day a week
• Must be able to pass necessary background checks
• Past experience in volunteer coordination or related fields strongly preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting with Program Development and Onboarding
• Volunteer Coordination
• Communication and Support

REQUIRED TRAINING(S):

• Orientation/Onboarding
