About this Opportunity
Join the American Red Cross as a Community Engagement and Partnerships (CEP) volunteer and help ensure that all communities - especially those traditionally underserved - are informed, prepared, and supported before, during, and after disasters.
As a CEP volunteer, you’ll work with community-based organizations, NGOs, and private-sector partners to build connections and coordinate efforts that reflect the needs and strengths of the entire community. Your work will help create more inclusive, effective disaster responses by bringing diverse voices and resources to the table.
What You'll Do:
- Connect with local organizations and groups to strengthen community partnerships.
- Support outreach efforts that prioritize equity and inclusion.
- Represent the Red Cross at coordination meetings and events.
- Assist with planning and implementation of regional community engagement strategies.
- Support multi-agency collaboration and activities.
- Help ensure community voices are integrated into disaster planning and response.
Location: Virtual and/or in-person depending on the activity and your availability.
Commitment: A few hours per month, with increased need during disaster events. Training is provided.
