About this Opportunity

Housing Works' services include housing, mental and physical healthcare, job training, legal counseling, and advocacy - more than 30,000 homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with and affected by HIV/AIDS have been provided a comprehensive array of services since 1990. To help fund these efforts, Housing Works operates a variety of entrepreneurial businesses including ten Thrift Shops (7 in Manhattan, 2 in Brooklyn), our SoHo Bookstore Cafe and we hold several major fundraising events. Note: You must be 18+ to volunteer for Housing Works. All of our volunteers attend a New Volunteer Information Session, where our Volunteer Coordinators go over our organization and the volunteering roles we offer.
