About this Opportunity
Housing Works' services include housing, mental and physical healthcare, job training, legal counseling, and advocacy - more than 30,000 homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with and affected by HIV/AIDS have been provided a comprehensive array of services since 1990. The Housing Works Online Bookstore, located just one level down from the Bookstore on Crosby Street, has a massive inventory of books that we scan, pack and sell via our online partners to generate revenue and benefit the organization. We have an urgent need for volunteers to assist us with unpacking boxes and scanning books into the system. This is a very simple, automated process.
