About this Opportunity
Do you like to quilt and sew? If so, this opportunity may be for you! People living with dementia sometimes can benefit from activity quilts or mats to engage them, particularly if they have some anxiety or boredom. These lap quilts are adorned with gadgets such as zippers, buttons, ties and flaps and can provide stimulation for hours. If you have made these before or are interested in seeing some examples please give me a call. Each quilt is different so if you are creative, you may enjoy this opportunity to share your talent with someone in need.
