Facilities Volunteer

Help us maintain our historic building and garden!

Our Facilities Volunteer will help with maintenance around the Williams House, such as replacing light bulbs, installing safety equipment and putting together furniture. This opportunity will be on an as-needed basis but we are happy to work around your schedule. You will work with other people on certain projects as needed.

Responsibilities: Assist the MOAH team with property maintenance as needed. Do minor repairs around the property and grounds. Assist with larger projects as needed.

Benefits: Work in a historic house and garden. We will gladly sign off on community service hour requirements, including verification if necessary. A great resume builder for those who are starting out in their career or transitioning to a new one. Great working environment for volunteering at a local museum.

Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old and be able to fill out our volunteer waiver. Volunteers must provide proof of vaccination status. Help us and become a volunteer! The Museum of American Heritage relies on 100+ committed volunteers to help us operate the museum. From maintaining exhibits to helping in the garden, we can find the right opportunity for you!
