LOCATION: Thaddeus Resource Center, La Verne, California.
DESCRIPTION: The Women's Center Volunteer plays an important role in carrying out the organization's mission to empower girls and women. They help sort and organize incoming donations, maintain a clean donation center, keep track of inventory, and assist with other related tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in Thaddeus Resource Center in-person events. Sort and organize incoming donations: clothes, toys, and other essential items. Greet clients when they arrive at the women's/donations center. Assist in unloading incoming donations and ensure items are in good condition and ready for distribution. Provide help as clients browse available items. Maintain a clean and organized women's center. Help track inventory levels and restock as needed. Assist in any immediate service or related projects if required. Help clean up the on-site location at the end of each day.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 16 years old. Ability to interact with diverse client population in a respectful manner. Attention to detail when sorting and organizing donations. Commitment to our organization's missions and values. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and stand for extending periods.
TIME COMMITMENT: One shift a week (4hrs) between the hours of 9am-4pm PST & 6 months minimum.
