Podcast Producer

The Podcast Producer is responsible for managing the production of the organization's podcast, from pre-production to post-production. The Podcast Producer will work closely with the podcast host(s) and other team members to develop and implement creative and engaging content, and will be responsible for managing the recording, editing, and publishing of episodes. The successful candidate will have a passion for podcasting, a strong understanding of audio production, and experience managing a podcast from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the production of the organization's podcast, from pre-production to post-production.
• Work closely with the podcast host(s) and other team members to develop and implement creative and engaging content for the podcast.
• Manage the recording, editing, and publishing of episodes, ensuring that they meet the organization's standards for quality and are delivered on time.
• Collaborate with the marketing and promotions teams to promote the podcast and grow the audience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies and incorporate them into the podcast production.
• Monitor and analyze podcast metrics, such as downloads and listener engagement, and use this information to improve the podcast.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as audio production, journalism, or communications
• 2+ years of experience producing podcasts
• Strong understanding of audio production and editing software
• Strong understanding of podcasting trends and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Passion for podcasting and ability to work in a fast-paced and creative environment
