About this Opportunity

Inside each child is the ability to succeed!

Volunteers are needed to assistchildren and teens in our inpatient programs - Psychiatric Medical Institute for Children (PMIC) and Intermediate Care Facility for Intellectual Disability (ICF/ID) withplay activities and quiet time activities.

Programming takes place in a nurturing, home-like setting on the Tanager Place Main Campus and centers around developing social, coping and problem-solving skills. Our goal is to use trauma-informed care components to help youth reach their full potential and build positive, strong relationships so they can return home as soon as possible.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for helping children, and that can commit to meeting on a regular basis. If you want to make a difference for a child - choose to invest 1 hour a week in a child that wants to learn yet needs a little extra help and encouragement.

Time slots available are:
Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-5:00pm
Monday-Thursday, 7:00pm-8:00pm
