At Shalom Community Impact Center, we are dedicated to uplifting refugees and immigrants by removing barriers and helping them access essential services. We offer linguistic and culturally-relevant support to help individuals navigate healthcare, education, immigration services, and other vital systems.We are looking for volunteers who can assist with interpretation and translation services, including verbal assistance, and help with reading and editing important letters and documents. Your support will help refugees and immigrants feel empowered as they navigate new systems.Please note: we do not provide legal advice for legal documents, but we are happy to refer individuals to low-cost or no-cost community legal resources when necessary.If you are passionate about helping others and breaking down language barriers, wed love for you to join our team of volunteers and make a meaningful impact!
