About this Opportunity
Outreach and Eligibility Intern
Outreach and Eligibility Interns develop office skills by assisting the members of the eligibility staff by providing aid with admin work and customer service. The Outreach and Eligibility Intern will be responsible for: data entry, working with spread sheets and customer service. Volunteers will be required to use eClinical Works and the Virginia Medicaid Web Portal, for which training will be provided. Volunteers must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Spanish speakers preferred, but not required.
This position will be under the supervision of the Program Manager and located at Neighborhood Health 6677 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22305.
To qualify: you must be at least 18 years old or 16 years or older with a parent signature, agree to a background check, comply to all HIPAA regulation, and be willing to learn and work towards a common goal
The position requires a two day per week commitment averaging about 10 hours weekly.
