Providence ElderPlace-PACE is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

Pet Therapy Visiting Team:We are in need of Pet Therapy volunteersthroughout King County to visit our senior participants at their homes, Assisted Living Facilities or PACE sites.Times are flexible.

• Animals must have graduated from a pet therapy program,Pet Protectors, Canine Companions, etc..
• Enjoy conversation
• Good listening skills
• Dependable
• 16 + years of age
• Patience
• Compassion

Avirtual new volunteer orientation is required for the human half of the pair,as well as a background check, medical screening-which includes current COVID 19 and influenza vaccines, and Personal Protective Equipment training.
