Volunteer Opportunity: Phone or In-Person Friend for Elderly Participant

We are looking for a compassionate and kind volunteer to engage with an elderly participant who has a rich and fulfilling background. This participant, a retired pediatrician, is very alert and oriented to their surroundings. They would love either in-person or virtual visits (via GrandPad).

About the Participant:

• Former pediatrician with a passion for sports, especially Huskies
• Enjoys reading, traveling, and watching shows likeCold CaseandCSI
• Loves playing games such as Dominoes
• Fond of visiting bookstores and Starbucks

Volunteer Role:

• Flexible visits (virtual or in-person)
• The volunteer should be kind, compassionate, and patient
• The participant enjoys meaningful conversations about their career, sports, and hobbies
