Are you passionate about food justice and youth education?

Imagine a city wherepeople have equal access to healthy and culturally appropriate food. TheCommunity Food Education (CFE)at Solid Ground fosters community connections through gardening education, sustainable food production, environmental stewardship, and raising awareness about good nutrition and food justice. We also fight hunger by providing low-income individuals with seeds and materials, and supporting backyard gardeners in donating fruits and vegetables grown in King County.

If you share our vision, join usatMarra Farm Giving Gardenin Seattle's South Park neighborhood! As aField Trip Educator, you'll help lead hands-on educational farm field trips for elementary school students and support students in garden-related activities. Topics include the journey of food, exploring the soil, cooking, nutrition, creatures like bees and worms, and food justice.
