Do you want to make a positive impact on a child's learning journey? Volunteer as a Youth Tutor at Solid Ground's Sand Point Housing!
About Tutoring at Sand Point Housing: Now recruiting for the 2024-2025 school year! We're looking for strong problem solvers who can bring their experience in education or social services to provide respectful, nonjudgmental, positive, creative, flexible, and consistent tutoring support for youth.Tutors will start in February 2025 at the soonest.
About Sand Point Housing: Our Sand Point Housing campus provides permanent supportive housing, affordable permanent housing, and onsite support services for formerly homeless families. Located in Seattles Magnuson Park near Lake Washington, the campus includes renovated historic U.S. Navy buildings and newer construction totaling 183 townhomes and apartments. Today, 400+ people - about half of whom are children and youth - live in a thriving community with onsite support services at Sand Point.
