Older Adults Needs Exercise Partners

Providence Heritage House at the Market is aunique Assisted Living Facility located at Pike Place Market. Adults age 55 and over are looking for interesting volunteers to enhance their quality of life.

Yoga Instructor or Walking group leader Volunteer: We are in need of a special someoneto conduct seated Yoga classes or facilitate a walking group for Assisted Living residents.

The right fit for this volunteer opportunity is someone with interpersonalskills who is at ease with all types of people.The Yoga Instructor should have certification or training. The walking group volunteer should be able to walk independently and ideally be physically able to push a resident using a manual wheelchair.Heritage House Assisted Living is a 24 hour facility.

Fun ActivitiesAssistant:Assist staff with various activity programs and tasks. Volunteer would lead Bingo and other games, restock vending machines, visit residents and spend time talking, playing games, art,.etc..

Dining Servers: These volunteers are needed to assist staff in serving meals in our dining room which overlooks Elliot Bay. Morning, noon and evening hours available.

These opportunities are available 7 days per week.

• 16 + years of age

Avirtual new volunteer orientation, medical screening, background check, and PPE Competency are required for this volunteer position.
