About this Opportunity
Retail Rescue Drivers play a crucial role in providing healthy, non-perishable food to our clients. Drivers pick up large food shelf donations from local grocery stores. The food is no longer able to be sold at the grocery store for various reasons but still safe to consume. This role saves thousands of pounds of food from being in a landfill each day!
Position Summary
The Retail Rescue Drivers help gather and load up donations then transport them back to IOCP. Due to the size of these donations often, drivers use IOCP vans and trucks for pick-ups. This role requires heavy lifting. Volunteers should be able to lift 50+lbs. Sign up for a New Volunteer Meeting to learn more about this and other volunteer opportunities at iocp.volunteerhub.com
