About this Opportunity
The Children's Home is looking for a positive male mentor for a 14-year-old youth in our residential group home at our Youth Farm campus. This is a unique opportunity to provide guidance, encouragement, and friendship to a young man who could benefit from a strong, positive role model in his life.
Were seeking a mentor who is:
- Compassionate and understanding.
- A great listener who is encouraging and nonjudgmental.
- Able to provide guidance on life skills, confidence-building, and personal growth.
- Committed to meeting regularly to build a meaningful connection.
Responsibilities of a Mentor:
- Be a consistent and reliable source of support.Help develop confidence and life skills.
- Offer encouragement and guidance through challenges.Foster a positive and trusting relationship while celebrating progress.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Willing to commit to weekly mentoring sessions, with at least a one-year time commitment.
- Must pass a background check, physical, and TB test.
