Visitor Center Host:

Volunteer Duties:

• Answer visitor’s questions and provide any needed assistance.

• Answer phone calls and provide public with needed assistance.

• Maintain appropriate records of visitation as well as report equipment breakdown or unusual occurrences.

• Perform clerical duties as needed.

• Open and close Visitor Center on a daily basis.

• Sell book store items and operate cash register.

• Maintains displays in a clean and operational manner.

• Stock brochure racks and merchandise shelves.

• Make sure restrooms are tidy.

• Check trash cans.

• Ensure kitchen items are put away in appropriate location.

• Update outside information boards.

• Sweep and clean off sidewalks when needed.

• Clean windows and doors when needed.

• Perform all duties safely.

• This job description can be changed at any time by the Operation Manager.

• Hours include 9:30 AM until 6:30 PM, daily and including holidays and weekends. There will be 2 other couples to help split up the shifts.
