About this Opportunity

CAMPGROUND HOST at Redding Recreation Area Responsibilities may include: Providing friendly service and recreational information to campers, hikers, anglers, boaters, and day-use visitors. Take recreational data by walking the camping, picnic, and recreational area twice a day; some litter pick-up when needed. provide on-site information to the general public Thursday-Monday and most holidays.  Clean the restrooms and shower area on a daily basis. Explain the campground regulations and the reasons for them. Hosts are provided with a camping space, including full hook-ups, for their RV.

Redding Recreation Area is situated along the Mulberry River and the picturesque Scenic Byway 215. This area provides numerous opportunities to get out in nature and enjoy one of the most beautiful rivers in the state of Arkansas.  Recreation opportunities include, but are not limited to, canoeing, hiking, fishing, swimming and more.  Highbank Canoe Launch and OHT trailhead are nearby.

To get to the recreation area, take the Ozark Exit (Hwy 23N off of I-40) for 18 miles and turn right (approx. 1/4 mile past Cass Job Corps. Center), on Hwy 215. Travel 3 miles, access road is on the right.

There are 23 camping units, day-use area, swim area, canoe launch, and the Ozark Highland Trail.
