8C: Cedar Point Campground Host

This is an outreach for the Host position at Cedar Point Campground located outside of Swansboro, North Carolina. Located on the banks of the White oak river and a few miles from the  beautiful beaches of Emerald Isle. This is a great place to live and work.

The responsiblities for this position include;

• Cleaning and restocking restroom facilities.
• Grounds keeping in and around campground (including zero turn mower operation, weed whipping, raking, and litter collection.)
• Open and Close campground gate based on established hours.
• Address visitor questions and concerns.
• Assist in reservations.
• Report any rule breaking to appropriate Forest Service officials

Hosts are expected to serve a minimum of 30 hours a week. The host is given a reimbursement of $100 a month, and an RV site while volunteering. Applicant must provide their own camper or RV and internet connection.
