About this Opportunity
Provide information to visitors; educate visitors on park resources, policies, rules and regulations; post and remove reservation notices on campsite markers; provide traffic control at the boater take-out as needed; monitor visitor use and report incidents and suspicious activities to rangers; provide basic facility maintenance as needed. A free, shaded RV campsite with utilities is provided. A handheld radio, uniform items, supplies and materials, and a golf cart are also available. First-aid/CPR/AED certification is available if requested at no cost. A minimum of 40 hours/week is expected, with a focus on afternoon coverage when the river access is busiest. Days off are flexible. Opportunities to be a part of a river trip through the monument for up to five days/trip will be offered. Preference will be given for applicants willing to volunteer for longer durations. A two-month minimum commitment is required.
