Maintenance/Park Beautification/Thomson Ranger Office Pool 13:

Volunteer Duties: The campground volunteer supports the overall operation of the campground with such duties as assisting campers with questions, distributing information, light maintenance, up-keep and cleaning.  Volunteer will be given training for these duties if needed. Volunteer may be required to complete government provided safety training for defensive driving.  Volunteers will average at least 21 hours of service per week. 

The volunteer will be provided a UTV John Deere Gator for assisting with duties.  Volunteers must maintain a valid driver’s license and have either an RV or pull behind style camping unit.  A background check will be conducted.  Information on Thomson Causeway Recreation Area can be found at http://www.missriver.org.  For more information on this position contact the Rangers at (815) 259-3628 or email at [email protected].

Days Off:  2 days off per week during week days but flexible on which days.
