About this Opportunity
Position: Interpretive Volunteer(s): Full Time with campground hook-up site and meal reimbursement included
Duties: Full time interpretive volunteer (or couple) needed to assist with interpretation services on the west side of Mount Rainier National Park (Longmire and Paradise). The successful applicant(s) will work a minimum of 36 hours per week (combined 36 hours if a couple) for at least 15 weeks.
Volunteer(s) will primarily work at busy information desks inside the Longmire Museum and Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center at Paradise providing information/interpretive services to park visitors. Other optional duties can include roving informal interpretation and facilitating an interpretive program. Training provided.
Benefits: Housing trailer pad for up to 40' RV/trailer available (paid by program). Up to $20 per day meal reimbursement provided (receipts required).
Dates: Target dates are for 15 weeks: May 24 - September 6. However, an additional week worked before and/or after Memorial Day-Labor day weekends is preferred.
