Dent Acres Campground Maintenance for Fall (Located at the Dent Acres Campground):
Volunteer Duties: As a Maintenance Volunteer for Dent Acres Campground you can enjoy the summer in beautiful northern Idaho. Dent Acres is a full service campground with 50 campsites, a boat launch ramp, playground, and restroom with showers. The lake offers nearly 54 miles of fishing and boating opportunities. Fall opening: Two couples needed for September 2020 to December 2020. Most duties are between 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and the Volunteers usually work four on and four off that way you have time to explore Idaho, and the surrounding area. Volunteers must be at least 21 years old, with no significant physical and mental condition that would prevent the volunteer from carrying out these duties. Your main duties are to maintain the campground and facilities; cleaning bathrooms, trash, fire rings, campsites, and mowing the campground. You will assist park staff with minor projects such as painting, pruning brush and or trees. Help rangers with special events or projects if needed. Volunteers do perform skilled maintenance duties or perform janitorial services. Vehicles and all the supplies you will need will be provided along with steel toed shoes. We also provided lawn mower training. (Please do not let your limitations in availability prevent you from considering this position; we will work with volunteers to fit their availability into our season.)
Deadlines: Resume deadline for spring couple is March 15, 2019. Resumes should be mailed to: Michelle B. East, Dworshak Reservoir, and P.O. Box 48, Ahshaka, Idaho 83520 or by email at [email protected].
